グーグル（Google）は3日、Android 16 QPR3のリリースに合わせて、デスクトップモードの一般提供を開始した。一部のPixel、Galaxyスマートフォンとタブレットが対象。

Android向けデスクトップウィンドウを提供開始

Googleは3月3日(現地時間)、Androidデバイス向けデスクトップ環境の一般提供を開始したと発表した。これは外部ディスプレイを接続したAndroidデバイス向けに、デスクトップPCに似たウィンドウ環境を提供する新機能。外観はWindows 11を意識した作りになっており、マルチタスク動作も可能とされる。
