This protocol was originally for a simultaneous, triplex (multiplex) detection of uidA (E. coli), spaA (S. aureus), and mecA (methecillin resistance) genes but along the way became a quadruplex assay with a last-minute realization and decision to add 16s rRNA gene in the assay. 🌟🎊😎☀️ Special thanks to Sir @docdimples for making this assay happen
